About JS Reference
JS Reference is a free, independent online documentation project covering 1027+ JavaScript methods, functions, and properties across 25 categories, from Array and String to Proxy, Reflect, and Typed Arrays. The goal is simple: every page should answer the questions a developer actually has when they look something up — what the syntax is, what each parameter means, what comes back, how it behaves on edge cases, what it costs in time complexity, and what mistakes people commonly make with it. Alongside the per-method reference, the site includes 145 long-form guides, 40 reusable code snippets, a glossary of 20+ terms, per-edition ECMAScript feature lists, and a browser-based playground. Everything runs locally in your browser, there is no account and no paywall, and the content is maintained to track the current ECMAScript specification.
