JavaScript Arraybuffer Guide
ArrayBuffer represents a fixed-length binary data buffer. DataView reads/writes multiple numeric types at any byte offset. The guide walks through ArrayBuffer & DataView. `new ArrayBuffer(16)` — 16 bytes. `new DataView(buffer)` — read/write at byte offsets. `.getInt32(offset, littleEndian)`, `.setFloat64(offset, value)`, `.getUint8(offset)`. Little-endian vs big-endian: `new Uint16Array([1])[0]` — check system endianness. Use for: binary file parsing, network protocols, audio/video processing, WebGL vertex data. The guide is organized into 1 sections that build on each other, each pairing a prose explanation with runnable code. Related guides: Arrays, Strings, Numbers, Math, Date. This is one of 145 JavaScript guides on JS Reference — see the full list on the guides page.
